Currently a professor at Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where she helped launch the Master of Science program in International Wine Management, she is also a consultant for Singapore Airlines since 2009. For three years, Lee co-hosted a popular weekly wine TV program, In Vino Veritas, in Hong Kong for TVB Pearl, the leading English-language TV broadcaster. Jeannie is the former publisher of Le Pan, a wine lifestyle publication she launched in 2015, and she is currently a monthly wine columnist for Robb Report China. Her two books, Mastering Wine and Asian Palate, have won numerous awards, including the Gourmand Award for Best Food and Wine Pairing Book in the World and the International Association of Culinary Professionals (IACP) award. Lee is co-chair of the Decanter Asia Wine Awards in Hong Kong and the Burgundy chair for the Decanter World Wine Awards in London. She also holds a Certificat de Cuisine from Le Cordon Bleu institute, and she is a Certified Wine Educator with the UK’s Wine & Spirits Education Trust and the U.S. Society of Wine Educators. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Smith College as well as a Master’s degree from Harvard University.
