The book unveils the fight against corruption in Africa. It argues that Africa has crafted several impressive Development Plans; unfortunately, most of them failed due to corruption. To overcome this challenge, Africa has launched a continental fight against corruption in 2018. This publication therefore narrates how the African Union re-traced its transformative steps and developed a 50 years development Agenda 2063. It also captured how the AU adopted two fundamental decisions and declared 2018 the Africa year of anti-corruption and 11th July of every year as Africa Anti-Corruption Day. It explain the African Anti-Corruption Architecture, the roles and activities of African government(s) at national, regional and continental levels and how many African states continue to romanticize corruption in the name of anti-corruption. It highlights the accomplishment and the challenges of anti-corruption in Africa and argues that a design of anti-corruption architecture is fundamental but much more important is the commitment to its implementation. It concludes that the ongoing trends of corruption must be forestalled to accomplish the Africa's transformative Agenda.
